These earrings are made of several connected sterling silver circles that swing gently, giving a feeling of lightness. The delicate, hand-crafted construction creates an organic movement, while the cool silver contrasts beautifully with the deep black of the central element: a Sumi Binchotan charcoal bead.
Sumi Binchotan is a particularly pure, traditional charcoal from Japan, obtained from Ubame oak and charred in a special, slow burning process at high temperatures. It is known for its fine, non-porous structure, which gives it a smooth, almost silky finish. It is valued in jewelry for its unique texture, deep black and symbolic meaning - it represents purity, protection and a connection to nature.
Length approx. 7 cm.
The piece of jewelry is handmade in my workshop using traditional goldsmith techniques.
